WHAT TO DO
Around Lisbon
Ponto Final, Almada
Great food. Epic views. Make sure you book a table in advance and book it for 17:30 so you can also watch the sunset.
Sintra
Fairytale village with castles surrounded by nature, beautiful views and a lot of history. It feels like a movie. Worth visiting for half a day.
Praia Irmão, Costa da Caparica
Beach club with great pizzas, nice cocktails and cool vibes. On the weekend they usually have DJ in the afternoon/evening.
Arrábida Natural Park
Turquoise waters, dramatic cliffs, and nice hiking trails. Great for a nature escape less than an hour away from Lisbon - bring your swimsuit!
Belém
Historic neighborhood along the river with iconic spots like the Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, and pastéis de nata straight from the source. Great for a chilled half-day walk full of culture (and sugar).
Alfama
The oldest district in Lisbon, full of narrow streets, tiled facades, fado music, and hidden viewpoints. It's like walking through a living postcard. Perfect for an afternoon stroll.
WHAT TO EAT
Pastel de Nata
Of course, if there’s one thing we portuguese are proud of - is pastel de nata. Crispy, creamy, and worth the calories. You will find them in every corner but my favorite is from Manteigaria. Get them warm and sprinkle with cinnamon. A classic. Thank me later.
Cervejaria Ramiro
Seafood heaven. Order garlic shrimp, clams, grilled tiger prawns… and end with the famous Prego, steak sandwich (yes, even after all that seafood). Go hungry.
Taberna sal grosso
Tiny, cozy, and packed with flavor. They serve sharing plates of Portuguese comfort food with love. Great for a chill and delicious dinner.
